Achat condoIn order to facilitate the purchase of your new condo in Montreal, Musto Construction has put together a series of steps, from the first visit to the sales office all the way to moving into your new condo in Montreal.

Step 1- The visit

Our housing consultants will show you the different new condos available. They will answer all your questions and help you make an educated decision.


Step 2- Signing the preliminary offer to purchase

Once you have decided to acquire your new condo, schedule an appointment with your sales representative to sign the preliminary offer to purchase.
A deposit of 5% of the total amount will be required in order to reserve the unit.

Step 3- Mortgage

Our housing consultant will recommend an accredited financial institutions with whom we have negotiated preferential and guaranteed rates in order for you to obtain a mortgage (if needed).  For more information on the financing of your new condo by Musto Construction, please see the financing section of the site.

Step 4 - Choices of finishings

Our consultant or designer (if one is present) will contact you in order to personalize your new condo in Montreal. Our consultant will assist you in choosing your finishings, such as flooring type, colors for counters, cabinets, ceramics, etc.

Step 5 - Reminder

3 to 4 weeks prior to the delivery of your new condo, you will receive a letter or an email informing you of the steps to follow. You will then get in contact with our notary and your mortgage specialist to give them the necessary information to prepare the deed of sale.

Step 6 - Inspection of your condo

Before the delivery of your new condo, you will proceed to the final inspection of your unit with our housing consultant. Adjustments to be made (if any) are noted and tended to prior to signing with the notary.

Step 7 - Deed of sale

The deed of sale can now be signed. The notary will execute all necessary adjustments (municipal and school taxes, condo fees, etc.) and provide you with a copy of the co-ownership declaration, your certificate of location as well as your deed of sale.
